How to remove negative attitudes from the subconscious. Working with beliefs: cutting off the excess Technique for working with bad beliefs

"...if you have faith
the size of a mustard seed and say to this mountain:
"move from here to there" and she'll move on
and nothing will be impossible for you."
(Mat. 17:20)

Jesus knew what he was talking about: it was not for nothing that so many people gathered around him, and his name has come down to our days in one religion as a highly revered prophet, and in another as a son of God. Jesus believed that he was the son of God, and more than a billion people now believe this.

Imagine if he thought he was the adopted son of a carpenter, what would be his fate then?

There are many ways and techniques to work with beliefs. The main algorithm of this work is to identify limiting beliefs and change them to those that can expand your capabilities. Everything seems quite simple, even a schoolboy can handle it. Surely you, who are reading this article, are already familiar with this scheme and can do it quite quickly - or maybe you did, and the result did not impress you.

Our article is about how to fill your beliefs with faith.

A friend of mine, who earned his living as a private driver in an old car and had a 10th grade education, thought a lot about his limiting beliefs and how to change them. He understood and believed: how he lives depends on his beliefs.

And then one day, while driving through the city, he looked up at a large beautiful building, where many expensive offices were located, and felt that someday in these offices he would conduct his trainings. He's been doing well for the last few years.

Summing up what has been said, I would like to say: it is not enough to change one's beliefs, one must fill them with faith. What are we going to do now.

How do beliefs work? To change them, you need to know how they work.

  1. An internal dialogue through which our view of the world is maintained.
  2. The images that we create in our minds, namely their submodalities, that is, the brightness of the picture, remoteness, movement.
  3. Our feelings and sensations about this belief.

By consistently changing all three components, we contribute to the creation of faith in a new belief.

1. To change the internal dialogue, you must use the so-called affirmations.. An affirmation is a short phrase that, when repeated many times, fixes the desired image or attitude. Here are some examples of good beliefs:

  • I am the one who makes money easily.
  • Money comes easy to me.

(Wrong to say: I am rich. Because there will be internal resistance).

It is easy to say these affirmations when you are not interrupted, but then the phone rings, you pick up the phone and already forget about your new belief and enter the previous state. To prevent this from happening, you need to write the necessary statement on A4 sheets and hang it in a conspicuous place as a reminder.

The above-described acquaintance, when he changed his life dramatically for one year, had a picture of a pit bull on his cell phone - a symbol of absolute fearlessness. “I am the one who boldly goes forward!” Against the old belief that got in his way: “Be careful. Don't stick out."

2. If the first concerned more of their qualities, then the second concerns relationships. For example, it is difficult for a person to get in touch with strangers. Let's take a guy who finds it difficult to approach a girl to get acquainted. If we ask him to imagine a girl with whom it is easy to communicate (for example, a sister), then this image will have a set of certain submodalities:

  • be in a certain place (left, right, straight),
  • have a size and color
  • image as live or photograph.

Then we ask you to imagine the image of the one that is scary to approach: and this image will also have submodalities that are noticeably different from the first image. So the human brain encodes the attitude to the object, forcing a person to behave in one way or another in relation to it.

After we have discovered the difference, we impose submodalities on the problem object, taken from the situation in which we are in the state we need. At one time, of course, it will not be fixed. Neural connections take time to clear old connections and build new ones. Therefore, repetition is necessary until you feel a real change in relation to the object.

3. Our internal dialogue and our images are in close connection with feelings and sensations. We respond to the world through sensations. If we ask you to imagine that you are in a safe comfortable place, and you remember this feeling, then if you imagine an unpleasant situation - a reprimand from the boss, then the feeling will be completely different. Different pictures of situations give different feelings. The essence of this technique is to maintain a state of comfort and relaxation, to imagine a previously unpleasant event that is possible in the future.

Let's take a simple example of how to put it all together.

We replace the non-environmental belief “money is hard to come by” with the opposite:

  1. I am someone who makes money easily and enjoys it.
  2. Changing submodalities. We take the submodalities of the activity where you can easily and with pleasure cope, for example, cooking. And we transfer to submodalities of work, where we earn money.
  3. We take the feeling of pleasure from cooking and think about the places and events where we earn money.

If you succeeded in all this, then expect pleasant changes.
The world will turn the way you want.

In the format of one article, it is impossible to describe all the techniques for changing beliefs in more detail, but in the following articles we will definitely describe examples of the resulting changes in beliefs from life, where you can learn more about the ways and methods of working with them.

Working with Beliefs

Working with Beliefs

Positive thinking and depression

It has become fashionable to think positively: countless books, articles, trainings, seminars and webinars call for discarding obscurantism and dissent, believing in a bright future and “turning” your thoughts so that they look positive. At first glance, such a doctrine looks harmless, but only narrow specialists know how harmful it is to the psyche. And it can even lead to depression.

Life is always richer and more varied than any correct conception. “Don’t worry in vain”, “Everything will be fine!”, “Live in the present!” Positive thinking, or the Pollyanna effect, is a kind of reasoning in which a person a priori sees only the merits of people and situations, turning a blind eye to shortcomings and obstacles. Scientists have proved that the slogans of "positive thinking", so popular today, are not feasible. The brain has a "malicious" habit of relating current experience to previous ones, and it is impossible to deceive our mental apparatus with good beliefs alone.

Of course, positive thinking is necessary, important and useful. It helps when obstacles arise to focus on the goal and achieve the desired results. But when this kind of thinking overshadows a wide range of all others, problems are guaranteed.

People who tend to follow attitudes like “don’t let negativity into your mind”, “don’t think about past mistakes”,- potential sclerotics. Their thought process is intermittent, and they are not able to link the sequence of their actions into a single canvas. The consciousness of people with such a positive attitude is selective, because they prefer not to remember evil. Their foreheads have long been smashed against the same rake. Although types without a diagnosed diagnosis are widespread. Having examined them closer, perhaps the reader recognizes himself or his relatives.

believer - indestructible look. Believes, therefore - exists (almost according to Descartes)! For he receives positive revelations from above, which he will certainly share with others: karma, aliens, theta-healing, trends of a new religion, astral travel, stain removers, face masks, dousing, burying alive, fruitarianism ... With pride, joy and solid positive in his heart, he zadolbaet you, "lost", until you join the ranks of the "enlightened".

Positive Idiot - dangerous guy. A smile and a good-natured look, inadequate to the situation, is a reliable way out of all the troublesome ups and downs that he created. A professional at doing idiotic things that the rest of us deal with for him. And he doesn't care! Forward, to new achievements, because "everything will be ho-ro-sho!". Wow, there are victims of his optimism, who voluntarily clean up the mess he has created!

Positive Saboteur - an incorrigible optimist. Inadequately enthusiastic and will support any undertakings, but in words, not in deeds. This look is extremely common in organizations where it is customary to smile and behave extremely positively. The main thing is to use inexhaustible charm and acting skills in time - after all, bosses, clients and employees love positive-minded people! Wearing this mask, any assignment can be flushed down the toilet, and no one will have the thought of suspecting meanness and making claims to the "adept of the Ways of Light."

The humor about the aggravation of positive thinking is quite appropriate. After all, the subconscious does not forgive the deliberate repression of thoughts and feelings. An attempt to “turn off individual feelings” is tantamount to a willingness to voluntarily amputate some part of the body. The well-studied processes of the physiology of higher nervous activity serve as proof of the foregoing: when we remember the past and invent the future, the same areas of the frontal zone of the brain are involved. The brain is set to survival. It processes tons of information every moment, simultaneously perceiving what is happening now and remembering what happened in the past on similar occasions. At the same time, it prepares us for actions similar to those we have already taken in identical situations. We are stitched with the memory of survival and are not able to come up with nothing new - the brain produces pictures of the future based on past experience!

Man is incapable of creating something new. He operates with concepts from a stuffed bag of stereotypes. During the tsunami in Indonesia, people stood and waited for a wave to cover them. At the same time, the animals escaped by fleeing to the mountains. They were more fortunate - they did not have stereotypical thinking.

Having deeply rooted beliefs and building your own destiny on their basis, it is impossible to deceive the mind with a false belief that "everything will be fine." Such self-deception leads to disappointment and depression and is called "magic thinking" in psychology. There are no half empty and full glasses. There is a glass of water - and that's it!

This is another excellent technique of self-exploration and awakening to life, through taking responsibility for it, which I use in my work and which can be attributed to cognitive psychology.

The author of the technique called "Work" is Byron Katie.
This woman spent about 10 years in a deep depression and one day, quite by accident, she suddenly realized that it was not the events of her life that made her unhappy, but thoughts about them and nothing more.
She saw that if she does not believe in her negative belief, she does not suffer, but as soon as she believes in it, life turns into hell. And it became a revelation. Her life was completely turned upside down, since then, according to Byron, for more than 25 years she has not suffered a single day.

Currently, B. Katie is known as the author of the books: “To love what is”, “I need your love - is it so?”, “Joy has a thousand names.” She travels with lectures around the world, introducing people with the "Work", helping them to come to harmony and deliverance from suffering. ] She also created her own school "Work", within which seminars and intensives are held, where you can immerse yourself in work on yourself and the Institute "Work", where you can go through different stages of training as an instructor.

So how does it work.

For example, you feel bad when you believe the thought: "My husband does not love me."
You ask yourself 4 invariable questions of work:

1.Is it true?
2. Can you absolutely know that this is true?
3. Find a reasonable reason to continue believing in this idea?
4. How do you feel without this thought?

After that, you do a "Reversal”, look at how true the opposite statements are. If until now it seemed to you that your husband does not love you, then it may suddenly turn out that in fact it is you who do not love your husband, being offended by him and thinking about him like that, and yet you do not love yourself when you make yourself suffer believing in your negative belief.

And now in more detail. The first self-exploration question is designed to let you see how much you have believed in your negative belief without really having any real reason or concrete facts for it. After all, you must admit that you cannot know for sure whether your husband loves you or it only seems to you, and in the following questions you will see for yourself. But first you need to doubt your innocence.

My husband doesn't love me. It's true?
- Yes.
- Can you absolutely know that this is true?
- Not.
- Can you find at least one reasonable reason to believe in this thought?

Here you are invited to take a responsibility for choosing their beliefs and beliefs upon themselves. Answer yourself - how do you feel when you believe in the thought "My husband does not love me"? You are suffering... And who will you be without this thought?
A happy woman, joyful, light ... And it's not just about her husband. He is a mirror of your own attitude towards yourself. It's up to you - in thought and faith. Your life, your feelings are only your responsibility.

Find three examples to prove that this statement is true.
Give three examples of when you don't love yourself, reacting like a child, blaming others for it, and refusing to take responsibility for your experiences.

Let's turn it away from us "I don't love my husband"- the moment you accuse him, you don't love him. But you demand love from him. Do you think he has no grudges against you and his inner suffering? In addition, are you sure that if, for example, your husband does not look at you when you tell him something, this means that he does not love you? He can love you and still do things that offend you. But this is not his problem and fault. Give three examples (situations) confirming that you also do not love your husband and that this is no less true than the statement that your husband does not love you.

From the reverse "My husband loves me." Find three examples in which you were sure that your husband loves you, were you happy and grateful to him for this? Could it be that, for example, you love when they constantly talk to you, love a lot of attention, and your husband comes home from work, is silent, eats and goes to bed, and you think that he does not love you. And believe it and suffer.
It's true? He can love you very much, but at the same time, love has a completely different meaning for him, for example, he lives with you, eats food prepared by you, and this means that every day he chooses you, and not another woman, and in his worldview it could mean I love her. Etc.

After this work, you will feel that the thought “My husband does not love me” no longer brings you so much suffering, it does not seem so true, it is more and more difficult to believe in it, you learn to take responsibility for yourself and your thoughts, as well as the feelings they evoke when you believe in them.

By working through it again and again, your life will really change. And you will never again be able to believe in the thought “My husband does not love me” and similar negative ones.

Good luck! I hope this technique will be useful to you.

in passing about hopelessness, helplessness, undeservedness. How do

such beliefs? How can you influence them? If we're not going

challenge them, what should be done in this case?

I can say one thing about this:

You can only guide people to change their beliefs. To you

you will never be able to change someone's beliefs on your own. The task is to

adapt and direct a person on the path of independent development of new

beliefs.

II. Ability Beliefs

Beliefs and experiences of failure

In getting started with beliefs, I would like to start first with

beliefs about ability and failure. The conviction that you

fail forms a self-fulfilling prophecy. So if I already

unsuccessfully tried to lose weight twenty times and someone tells me that

there is a new NLP method to lose weight, I just can't believe it

can help me somehow, because the twenty previous methods did not give

no result. And this belief plays a very important role.

The opposite case is represented by people who believe that if

will be able to see (visualize) a picture of a successful result, then

sure to get it.

I know an example when one group of gymnasts was

instructed how to visualize their ability to perform

a certain exercise, while in another group such instruction

was not carried out. A couple of weeks later, when both groups were asked

perform this exercise without prior training, in the first group

success was accompanied by 50 to 60% of athletes, while in the second -

only 10%.

But what happened to those 40-50% of gymnasts who could not

perform the exercise, although you previously visualized your success?

Among other things, I found that if a person quite clearly

imagines how he achieves success, but at the same time does not believe in himself, then he

says, "I'll never be able to do that. It's just unrealistic

expectations or false hopes.

"The more clearly I imagine it, the more I begin to feel that,

I probably won't be able to do it."

Here is an example of how beliefs can affect visualization.

The ability to visualize is a function of our abilities, but those

what provides the visualization with meaning is persuasion.

I know people who are afraid to present themselves as winners

because they are sure that then they will definitely not succeed. This

illustrates the relationship between persuasion and strategy. In order to

to do something, it is not enough just to know how to do it. Actually

believing that I will fail may be the best way

sure to fail. The reverse is also true. Belief in

Placebo effectiveness guarantees the placebo effect.

Once I interviewed the inventor of a device, for the final

completion of which required multi-stage testing. I asked how

he managed to stay true to his purpose and endure all these setbacks. He

replied that he did not consider these tests failures, but simply the decision of others

problems than the one he was working on.

How does one achieve this? Thanks to the function of persuasion, and not

reality. The inventor was simply convinced that the data

the results were solutions to other problems, thus they became

resource, not failure.

I'd like to talk a little more about failure. The difference between that

whether something is perceived as feedback or as a failure, acquires

special significance at the "crisis" point I mentioned earlier (see chapter I,

"Expectation of own effectiveness"), when expectations about some

ability and actual effectiveness of a person diverge as much as possible.

Friends, we continue to study the topic in detail "Man's Beliefs". And this article may well be called the most important, because it is 100% practical. Consider how to correctly form your strong positive beliefs, and how to change negative subconscious beliefs to positive ones. After all, this is the most difficult and most important thing for a person who wants to change for the better himself and change his life.

The formation of life beliefs is the formation of one's inner core, which will determine the strength of a person, and their ability to achieve success and happiness. But, before starting practical work, please carefully read the basic provisions that are presented in these articles:

How to work with your beliefs? Right Understanding

Let me remind you that the main goal is to change precisely subconscious beliefs, which determine the fate of a person by more than 80%. This is not easy for most people (95% of people cannot change their subconscious beliefs at all due to lack of knowledge and lack of possession of appropriate techniques).

The essence of this work . The human subconscious is a big and often capricious child. And in order to accept new beliefs and rebuild - he, like a small child, needs to explain everything intelligibly, chew it with examples, arguments, images, and most importantly with great love. This requires a person to be patient, kind to himself, and extremely honest with himself.

You need to work with your subconscious mind and beliefs with great kindness, as with a beloved child, to whom you, as a parent, patiently explain everything with your fingers, answer all his questions “why?”, carefully monitor whether he has learned everything correctly))

Forcing yourself, driving in new beliefs by force or ordering something to your subconscious will not work! This approach will not work here, only the springs will be compressed even more inside.

How to understand that your subconscious is changing in the right direction? How to determine that it accepts and understands new ideas and attitudes? As you work on yourself, you feel good: calmly, joyfully in your heart, internal resistance, tightness, negativity go away, positive energy is born inside, there is a surge of strength, clarity in thoughts and inner confidence appear that you are doing everything right (your supports you). ).

How to change your beliefs? Basic techniques!

The main tasks in changing beliefs. A more complete algorithm (performed in writing):

  1. Identification of negative beliefs, misconceptions that spoil life, inner state, lead to fatal mistakes, sins, failures and suffering.
  2. Identify the reasons, grounds and preferably the author of these negative beliefs.
  3. Debunking the author's beliefs (false authority) and their foundations. Forming an understanding of why these negative beliefs are not true, cannot be true.
  4. Consistent replacement of all negative beliefs (representations) with positive ones, with substantiation (proof) of each positive belief.

An abbreviated algorithm for replacing negative beliefs with positive ones (in writing):

  1. Writing down negative beliefs.
  2. Replacing them with positive ones, with justification (the answer to the question is why is that right?).

Other Belief Formation Techniques:

  1. Disclosure of the topic and the formation of ideas through a creative essay.
  2. Free written prayer (see below for details).
  3. Formation of motivation. More details in the article - Motives are certain beliefs (attitudes), so this technique also needs to be mastered and applied.

Now about everything in more detail.

The main methods of replacing negative beliefs (attitudes) with positive ones

How the reduced algorithm for replacing negative with positive works. Consider an example of a negative attitude towards money.

1. We relax, fill ourselves with a stream of Light, ideally we enter a meditative state (how to do this - a link in the article below).

2. We ask appropriate questions inside ourselves, for example: “money is for me ...”, “how do I feel about money?”, “why don’t I like it?”, etc. And we listen to what thoughts come to mind from inside, rise from the subconscious. We write down all thoughts-programs in a column on the left side of the page.

3. Negative money beliefs. For me money is:

  1. something that always makes me nervous and worried, a source of suffering
  2. it's the evil that tempts me
  3. what I live for is the most important thing for me
  4. this is my god i pray to
  5. other thoughts (beliefs)

They wrote it out, looked it over, asked themselves again, supplemented it, if there was anything.

4. We replace in writing each negative belief with a positive idea. We replace it with how it is correct, how you would like to treat Money. The generated positive volume should be 3 times more than the negative.

  1. Money doesn't make me sad, it makes me happy. Money gives me more good opportunities. I am learning to earn and manage them calmly, without being nervous even when I fail. Worrying about money does not increase their amount. I replace experiences with the belief that I will definitely learn how to earn as much as I need. It's just a matter of skill in the field. I make money one of the sources of joy in my life, not suffering.
  2. is the energy of the universe, the energy to achieve success in the material world. This is not evil, but an opportunity to multiply good. I am learning to do more good with the help of money both in my destiny and in relation to other people as well. Money does not tempt, but simply reveals my weaknesses so that I can see them and get rid of them.
  3. Money is not the most important thing for me, it is only a means, energy to achieve my goals. I am learning to control the power of money, I want to harness it, and not be a slave to money.
  4. Money is not God, but one of His elements, which is given to people for the development of society. God for me is the Creator of the world, the Creator. And money is my good servant, which I manage, and do not pray for them.

After writing, we reread it several times and supplement what was written, if there is anything. In the process of reading new ideas, beliefs, positive images are formed, which enter the subconscious, rebuilding it. In the process of reading, if the positive answers are found correctly, you will feel good in your soul and joyful in your heart. This is the main indicator that positive changes are happening to you.

Difficulties you may encounter in this job:

  1. It happens that the problem in the subconscious is so resistant that it is not even possible to extract negative beliefs from it. As the saying goes, "not a single thought in my head." In this case, individual work is needed with or, which from the outside can reveal and help replace the negative beliefs of the subconscious with positive ones (they will take you by the hand and lead you).
  2. Sometimes, in order for positive changes to take place, you need to identify not only the negative belief itself (the causes of the problem), but also its author - remember where you picked up this delusion (from whom you heard it). And then you need to tell yourself that this person is not an authority in this area for me, not an expert, therefore what he said is not true and no longer has an influence on me and my destiny.
  3. It happens that a person's subconsciousness for a number of reasons turns out to be blocked, closed to transformations (there are karmic influences, locks, prohibitions). In this case, either the help of a Mentor or a Spiritual Healer will be needed. Or you need to open your subconscious on your own, for this I recommend an article -.

Other methods of forming positive beliefs and getting rid of negative ones

It is advisable to master all the good methods and techniques for forming your core. Many of the presented methods are applicable when a person, in principle, has few ideas, beliefs on some topic, on some issue, as they say “by zeros” (when consciousness is either completely pure or there is practically nothing in it on the relevant topic ).

In this case, there are several directions and methods of working with beliefs:

  1. Cognition is a set of correct knowledge, ideas, study of examples, experience of successful people in the relevant field: reading articles, books on the topic, watching movies. But at the same time, it is important to understand that not every book or article provides adequate ideas and knowledge. One must be able to distinguish and choose the right authorities and authors.
  2. and contemplation in a meditative state. When the subconscious is calm and the body is completely relaxed, it is possible to gain knowledge of any phenomena, concepts, spheres in meditation through communication with (question-answer). But before that, you still need to get there. Such abilities are not available to everyone. As a rule, mastering such techniques, learning to calm the mind, is a regular training with a Mentor and a set of energy, which are mastered from several months to several years.
  3. Written work, “pen and parchment” technique , which, in my deep conviction, is one of the most effective and fruitful in the formation of ideas and in reprogramming your subconscious. But, again, it is necessary to perform the corresponding written tasks aimed at forming positive beliefs in a certain state, which can be called meditative.

You can master the meditative state by working on the following articles :

Having learned at least the initial meditation techniques, you will increase the efficiency and comfort of working with your subconscious by several times.

Pen and Parchment Techniques or Forming Beliefs Through Writing:

Everything is extremely simple here, the most accessible technique is an arbitrary “Composition on the topic ...”. And the approach must be very creative. The most important thing when doing such writing assignments is to write everything from the Soul, from the heart. In this case, the energy necessary for the formation of beliefs is born and invested. And you need to write not dryly, but with images, examples, with a vision, with feelings, and not just reprint words from your head onto paper. Then it will work.

For example, essays on the topic:

  • “My Soul is beautiful and I love it very much” (if you want to form beliefs of a positive attitude towards yourself).
  • “God is not a tyrant, God is Love and Good” (if you form an attitude towards God).
  • “Money is not bad, but on the contrary, it is good and important, because ...” (if you build an attitude towards days).
  • “I am no longer afraid of people, they are not bad, but different, I am learning to distinguish people and find worthy ones ...” (if you strive to form adequate beliefs in relation to people).
  • Etc.

As you probably noticed, the titles of such works can be very different - from designating a general theme to very specific moods. Therefore, such essays for development may vary:

  • general essay on...
  • composition-mood
  • essay-choice (my choice is such and such, because ...)

There is also an important and very effective development technique based on written assignments “Written Prayer”!
